A quick note on how the car was found:
Pete had been looking for a project vehicle for quite awhile, usually local ads in newspapers, Trading Times, and other print sources. Thanks to Al Gore inventing the internet (ha ha), it opened a whole new world of options for researching vehicles. Pete found this Chevelle in late 2011 in Northern Illinois. The car was built in CA and was sold to a dealer in Tuscon AZ according to the build sheet. This Chevelle was last registered in AZ in 1992. What made this deal attractive was the amount of quality restoration parts that were part of the deal.
